Ingredients

 

Beef (boneless) – 1 kg
Onion (sliced) – 1/2 cup
Green Pepper (linearly sliced) – 10
Soy sauce – 1 table sp.
Vinegar – 1 table sp.
Tomato (chopped) – 1
Tomato Ketchup – 1 table sp.

Oil – 1/3 cup
Bay leaf
Garlic (chopped) – 1
Salt – 1 tsp.
Tasting salt – as needed
Sugar – 1 tsp.

 

Method

 

Chili BeefCut beef into tiny pieces. Mix beef with soy sauce, vinegar, salt, tasting salt, and sugar and marinade for 1 hour or more. Heat oil in a sauce pan and add beef pieces. Stir for some minutes. Add some water and cover the pan. Cook with low heat for half an hour or until beef becomes tender. Mix with green pepper for some minutes. Add water if needed. After 5 minutes, mix with onion, garlic, and tomato and stir properly. Cover the pan so that the flavor gets blended. When water is almost soaked, add ketchup, 1 sp. vinegar, 1 table sp. soy sauce, and bay leaf. Stir for some minutes. Chili beef is ready.
