Ingredients

 

Flour – 400 gm
Salt – to taste

Cooking Oil
Water

 

Method

LuchiIn a mixing bowl mix flour with salt. Add warm water and little bit of oil, mix properly to make a stiff dough. Make a number of small balls of about 15gm each from the dough. Cover and set aside for 20 minutes.

Take one ball and roll out in a oily surface to make a circular disk or round chappati. Briskly fry in heated oil till puffed up and then turn over. When the other side is done, drain the oil and put the luchi on a paper towel to soak the extra oil. Serve hot with a curry or you may also serve it as appetizer along with chutney and onion slices.
